Dr. Kathryn Arbic has completed further study in surgical treatment of cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injuries through SCIL Vet. She offers a technique called extracapsular repair, which involves using a synthetic suture material to mimic the anatomical position of the injured CCL. This helps stabilize the knee joint to reduce pain and allow your dog (or cat!) to return to physical activity. Dr. Arbic is also taking further training in fracture repairs this Spring 2019.
